I understand that many people adhere to a vegan diet for philosophical reasons, however, in the Midlife Metabolic Equation, I share about metabolic and hormone supportive nutrition and lifestyle which includes animal protein and products. Fundamental nutrition science and nearly 3 decades in practice have shown me that animal proteins are essential to metabolic and hormone health. Vegetarians are welcome to join the program, but it is difficult to see how this program would be helpful for vegans or vegetarians without an open mind to seeing the benefits of including ethically raised animal foods.
